The Philips Sonicare FlexCare + uses the power of sonic technology to clean the teeth. The brush operates at 31,000 strokes per minute, driving the toothpaste and water over and between the teeth.
In addition, the Pro Results brush head has a long neck to reach hard to clean areas, and a wide head to clean plaque and bacteria from the teeth and along the gumline. The brush head has colour code rings to enable more than one person to use the FlexCare + conveniently and hygienically.
The toothbrush has 5 modes: Gum Care to improve gum health within just two weeks, Clean for an effective whole mouth clean, Refresh for touch ups, the extra gentle Sensitive mode and Massage to stimulate the gums.
The FlexCare + comes with a UV sanitizer to remove 99% of bacteria and viruses from the brush head. Other features include a two minute Smart Timer to ensure that you brush for the dentist recommended time and a Quad Pacer interval timer to ensure that the whole mouth is clean.
The toothbrush also looks good; it has a long sleek white handle with an illuminated chrome display.
